I don't like the city at all. I live in a village and I truly want to live in the village only. The reason is not that I haven't lived in the city in the past. From Class 6 to 9, I was in Uttara, Dhaka.
Although I used to like the city then, I don't like it anymore. The noise of the city, the city buses, the city rickshaws, the screaming of the city—how can a person live in so much pollution! I won't be able to do it, brother.
Even if I ever have to go to the city for a job, I can't even think about how I will live there. Maybe then I will have to live there out of helplessness, which I really don't want. I should salute the city people by tucking my tail, thinking how they live in such a dusty city. I actually want to be a nature lover, I want to live in nature with myself, as a result, village life feels very relaxing to me. Peaceful.
I will have a big field of my own, and there will be trees all around the field. In the middle of the field will be my house, a tin-roofed house. In front of the house, there will be a big courtyard. Even if this dream does not become a reality, I will at least have my own house in a residential area of the village. Some space allocated for flower plants in front of the house, and that's it—an open balcony. I will have a cat, and some birds kept in a cage. Flowers will bloom on the flower plants. My job will be to wake up every morning and water them. When the flowers bloom, I will be very happy.
The main problem is that there is actually no work in the village. It would be best if I could open a coffee house! It would be good for me if I could become a teacher at a primary school in the village, or get some kind of government job, so that I can enjoy my life a little peacefully. Alongside, I want to be a writer. And if these are not possible, then I want to be at least a freelance designer. I have a desire to do freelancing.
I will stay in the village itself, and all my IT work will happen in the village. I will arrange for a Starlink network here. After that, I will try to install a high-quality solar power system at home. It is my strong wish to live off-grid, meaning everything of mine will come from nature. My electricity, my water, all the basic necessities that I have, I actually want to take them all from nature.
After waking up in the morning, I will sit on the veranda and drink tea. The newspaper will be delivered to the house, and I will read the newspaper. I will sit outside for a bit, and walk around a little. At the age of 45 to 50, lying in the room and looking up at the ceiling, I don't want to think—what did I actually do in life! I ran after the city and money all my life, but at this time, there is no need for money anymore. I actually don't want to waste time anymore from now on, I want to give time to myself.
Thank you.
